WAR TIME BETWEEN JESUS CHRIST AND LUCIFER IN GOD’S JUSTICE
In our materialistic Western world, our contemporaries are more concerned about the time it will take the next weekend that the return of Jesus Christ.
Unfortunately, this is what we can all see in everyday conversations.
That’s where we came up with the » Christianization « of the Western world.
We must understand that our generation suffers a war of unprecedented strength between good and evil among other facts which caused this Christianization of our Western civilization.
Jesus Christ, true to his word given to men there are two thousand years struggle in this period of the end times to save the maximum of beings from the clutches of Lucifer himself fighting to destroy the man « of God’s creation « starting with annihilate and destroy » Christendom « to wreak vengeance on God who chased the heavens with all the fallen angels who became demons.
I agree for an atheist this may seem out of the imagination of a brain effervescent and sick, but every Christian living in the faith of Christ, he understands that it’s simply human history that s’ fulfilled before our eyes in these difficult times for the fulfillment of Bible prophecies of apocalyptic end times.
Unfortunately for humanity-Christianization of Western civilization gives way to the Islamization of the world.
It would be foolish to believe that Islam leads to God because we see every day and seeing all the horrors, all the crimes and all the massacres committed Christians by Islamists in the name of Islam, Muhammad, the Quran his hadith .
Islam is an aberration, it is a hideous and disgusting beast that spawned at the end of time monsters, bloodthirsty fanatics and « Islamist » They are in the values of the horror hundred times worse than the Nazis!
What is even more serious is that « Islamists » say apply to the letter theQuran and « Hadith » (the false prophet Muhammad) and therefore power and even duty KILL all those who reject Islam. » Jews, Christians, atheists and others … «
Islam is actually a poison and actually it is the religion of Lucifer, he has created by lying to destroy Christendom and lose driving straight to hell all those who come to him (Muslims).
The fact condone the expansion of Islam is to accept without telling the end of Christianity and therefore accept to worship Lucifer instead of God.
But it is only since we realized that we were living particularly difficult time on Earth that we understood (Fervent Christians in the Faith) that difficult times were consistent in all respects with biblical prophecies announcing the end of time and return to Earth of our Lord Jesus Christ for his thousand-year reign that will separate us from the final judgment.
For a look and analyze the past we see that the biblical prophecies heralding the end times and the return to Earth of Jesus Christ began with the creation of the state of Israel May 14, 1948.
The date of the establishment of the State of Israel is also very likely start date of the end of time because all the prophecies (around fifty, view the three videos at the bottom of the article) and biblical apocalyptic heralding the return of Jesus Christ began at that time.
The creation of the State of Israel in the special conditions or it occurred is obviously the first sign of the end times. « This is God’s forgiveness to the Jewish people! «
We have also included in this view of the past that all the prophecies of the end times are come with more and more force and frequency since that date of 14 May 1948.
On 14 May 1948, date of creation of the State of Israel is therefore very visibly supporting evidence (fulfillment of prophecy), the date to remember for the beginning of the period of the late time.
See my article:
The prophecies of the End Times:
It is now a fact of history since biblical prophecies heralding the end times have indeed all fulfilled.
Those lacking such a large earthquake, the destruction of Rome and the reconstruction of the third temple in Jerusalem are directly related to the time of the return of Jesus Christ.
Recall that as we have already seen in previous blog posts, the period of the end times has a maximum duration.
Particularly in the Gospel of Matthew we find this term in chapter 24 verses 33 and 34
3 3 Similarly, when you see all these things, know that the Son of man is near, at the door
34 I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass away until all these things from happening.
We therefore find that the length of the end of time is a generation.
Likewise it is very important to stress that there is no timeout for the end of time.
Jesus Christ was more than just specifying formal verse « 35 »
35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words shall not pass.
So it is clear that in granting forgiveness to the Jewish people by God at the same time triggered the end of time.
(Ezekiel 36 / 24-28)
I will take you from the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you back to your country. I will pour upon you clean water, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit; I will remove from your body the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. I will put my Spirit in you, and I will cause you to walk in my statutes, and you keep my laws. You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be my people, and I will be your God
And therefore since May 14, 1948 in the space of one generation Jesus Christ will return to Earth. It is a certainty.
The problem for us is that we do not know exactly the precise duration of generation mentioned by Jesus Christ, who nevertheless is biblically 70 years (mean age of human life) and 120 years (maximum life age life of man).
We do not know if God will await the complete end of this generation for the return to Earth of His only Son Jesus Christ.
But we know that Lucifer does not know the precise time of the end of time and therefore the exact date of the return of Jesus Christ on Earth.(Since that date only God knows)
So what appears certain, as all the Biblical prophecies heralding the end times and the return of Jesus Christ are already realized is that May 14, 1948 the hourglass of the end of time has obviously been returned God granting pardon to the Jewish people.
For an analytical look biased but we also see the past as a Christian thatwe live since that date of 14 May 1948 in the middle of the » War Time « , which takes place between Jesus Christ and Lucifer
For Jesus Christ
Since 14 May 1948, his faithful servants, « missionaries » risking their lives evangelize and baptize all over the world including in the most remote and wild corner of the globe.
They inform all the populations of the achievements of the Biblical prophecies of the end times and the imminent return of Jesus Christ.
It’s a real explosion of evangelism and baptisms held since 14 May 1948.
The Bible became the most published book in the world.
Eschatology has become a passion that allows those who so indulge to understand the signs and prophecies of the end times including gradually decipher the book of the Apocalypse of John.
An increasing number of preachers draw attention of humanity on the realization of biblical prophecies and announce the return of Jesus Christ for our generation.
Priests, pastors, devout Christians in the Faith openly address this issue openly « even taboo in the church, » the return of Jesus Christ.
A real chain of soldiers of Christ Risen is created in the world to spread the good news of the completion of the prophecies and therefore the imminent return of Jesus Christ.
Blogs and videos on the return of Jesus Christ are endless on the Net.
See my article:
Alas, despite all the goodwill of the soldiers of Christ, only one billion people on the Seven billion professing Christians and among those Christians, many who are lukewarm or cold in the Faith.
His faithful and devoted servants, they are working since May 14, 1948 to destroy Christianity in particular by misinformation, atheism, enslavement, insecurity, poverty, wars and persecutions that are made by its army « Islamists, » but also by its elites the « Illuminati » who lead Earth in shadow by the strong dollar. (See my previous article HERE )
There are about fifty years in Western Christian countries, Christians lived in peace and freedom from want.
Today in Western countries fear, insecurity and poverty are the daily lot of Christian families.
We can still see today in the fervent Christian faith is more than a shadow in warm or cold church in faith.
Looking critically satanic attacks against Christianity, we see that it is being attacked from all sides with strength and large scale of ince September 29, 2008 (date of the Wall Street crash)
Attacked from within
The Vatican is close and demolish many churches around the world.
The recruitment of priests became ridiculous.
Giant clams and confessionals are gradually removed from the churches.
The shrines are demolished.
Christian traditions and festivals are canceled or replaced with pagan festivals.
The Bible and the Cross of Jesus Christ were removed from court.
It has become forbidden to celebrate Christmas in public services.
Even the Pope about the contradictions with his actions.
In his remarks he openly condemns the persecution of Christians by East and deed he receives « large pumps » the Vatican « At St Peter ‘ representatives of other religions including Muslims with whom he made joint prayers.
One wonders who will these prayers as the other religions do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as the only son of God and savior of « the man ».
In countries in the middle east, churches are vandalized, looted and burned, Christians are persecuted, driven from their homes, their houses are burned, women are raped in front of family before all are killed by Islamists who cry loud and clear to the world that they apply the Koran literally massacring Christians.
The date of 29 September 2008 was a very strong day for biblical signs.
It is the beginning of the World ruin which the world (Biblical announcement) will not recover before the return of Jesus Christ.
The New York Stock Exchange collapsed with the index of -777.7.
Note the symbolism of all these seven and the fact that September 29 is also the day of the feast of the angels.
Everyone can see that since that date of 29 September 2008 the world economy will worse and worse.
The date of 29 September 2008 is all the more important that we note that since the Bible prophecies heralding the return of Jesus Christ are amplified exponentially.
We must recognize that Lucifer is really very strong and his apostles manage to wear very violent and very effective blows to Christianity that not only is attacked from all sides but also split into several churches saying closest as each other in Jesus Christ.
We also noted that since March 2012 , Satan’s attacks are stronger than ever, persecution of Christians are widespread around the world.Precariousness and poverty have never been as many victims.
Christian values are thrown to the gutter, evil, selfishness, self-centeredness, lust and individualism have become real modern values.
In East, Africa and North of the planet they are military conflicts but also between rival Islamic bands that are agreed on one point:
Is that we must persecute and kill Christians.
In Western countries « were » Christian countries before » invasion » by Islamic immigration and demography, which began gradually from 14 May 1948 with the complicity of our government leaders, we attend to the exponential rise of « Islamism »
Islam and his Muslim religion have become so widespread in Europe and in the Western world that we can truly speak of human invasion, cultural, religious, social and societal.
Note that this migration flow is of such magnitude that some Christians are closed and no longer followed the teaching of Jesus Christ » Love, Peace, Compassion, Sharing, Respect and Humility. «
Note that since September 29, 2008 this Islamic immigration that was already very important in the West grew at the speed » V « because millions of families fleeing poverty, violence, persecution, wars and jihadists.
Since March 2012, the exodus of populations has increased tenfold and unfortunately many are in flight drown in the Mediterranean (Men, Women and children).
Hundreds of thousands of entire families of Muslims and Christians are fleeing every week these bloodthirsty brutes are Islamists who massacre and persecute the people and for the greater glory of Lucifer!
We must denounce the Christians imposed Islamization because it goes against our faith and the teaching of Jesus Christ. « I am the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me. »
Link HERE John 14.6.
We must, whatever their religion, to help these unfortunate victims of the Islamists.
But in our aid to disadvantaged and victims of Islamist fanatics we must never forget that only Jesus Christ is our Savior and Lord as well as a one and only, true religion is Christianity.
All other religions are false religions whose followers worship Lucifer thinking worship God. Except for the Jewish people linked with God is not to demonstrate and also obtained his pardon 14 May 1948.
Denouncing Islamization and false religions should not prevent us as Christians to help all who seek our help and respect the choices of each.
God gave us all free will and therefore each chooses the path he wants to follow.
Our Christian duty is to inform and spread the word « Jesus Christ is coming soon » but especially not to force others to join!
We are in 2015 and we see by looking at the past that since May 14, 1948 and the world really has changed dramatically.
Certainly as Christians we realized that this change is due to the fulfillment of Bible prophecies of the end times and the imminent return of Jesus Christ.
And as soldiers of Christ we proclaim to the world.
Until 29 September 2008, the changes were consistent and progressive.
Of course we could note that the world was changing, but it is characteristic of civilization than change. Sometimes it goes in the right direction and sometimes in the wrong.
But since September 29, 2008, changes have become brutal, powerful and arriving jerks in all areas: Disease, Disaster, meteorite falls, economy, science (explosion of knowledge), violence, rebellions, wars and loss of values .
Note biblical fact also planned for the end of time:
Pets, livestock, fish and birds die by the millions every year since 2008 without any known reason.
These are facts of history that everyone can check.
We can also confirm, as they are now also historical facts, that March 2012 was the beginning of the war « Jihad » we are witnessing the Middle East.
This War is the continuation of the events of the revolt of 2011 in Syria.
We can see that Diseases, Disasters, meteorite falls, economy, violence, rebellions, wars and loss of values, since March 2012, are making steady and powerful havoc.
Similarly we see every day a new scientific developments.
These apocalyptic events are becoming more numerous on the planet.
Please note that the information in the media are « sporadic » on the subject!
Persecution of Christians have never been as important as since March 2012 these bands bloodthirsty savages « Islamists » who kill Christians on behalf of the writings of a book « Quran Hadith + » and a pseudo-prophet « Mahomet »
Recently Sunday, April 19, 2015, is an attack on two churches, which seems by the will of God, have been avoided in the Paris region.

This fake Islamic prophet « Muhammad » so important to the end of time, lived around the year 600, but it has still yet in 2015 in ISLAM nearly one billion followers. « Muslims « and fortunately for Christians that they are not all (for now) fanatical Islamists.
Being a Christian at the end of time is difficult, even very difficult for many.
If Jesus Christ is slow to return to Earth, I’m not sure he still is an unshakable faith in his church.
I invite my beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus to read my article.
It is clear that we are witnessing mounted regular power since 14 May 1948 heralding biblical prophecies of the end times and the return of Jesus Christ.
Let us to better understand:
14 May 1948: date of creation of the Israeli state and potentially the beginning of the end of time at the sight of the achievements of biblical prophecies heralding the return to Earth of Jesus Christ.
September 29, 2008 : Crash of the date of Wall Street on September 29 is also the date of the Angels Day.
We see the fulfillment of prophecy is mounted high power since.
We also note that since then the attacks against Christianity are of great magnitude.
March 2012: start of the state of war « Jihad »
The fanatical Islamists are waging a war without thank you against the lukewarm Muslim in belief and reading the Koran and Hadith.
They also conduct a particularly ignoble war against the Christian populations wherever they are in the minority.
We are seeing real « genocide » committed by the Islamists against the Christian populations particularly in Africa and the middle east.
Elsewhere on the planet these are attacks that are designed to create a climate of fear and even terror of the Christian populations.
If we analyze in the light of the Bible these three dates and prophecies achievements
We find that the May 14, 1948 is the beginning of the end of time.
The September 29, 2008 is the beginning of the tribulation « that the biblical term is seven years’
We also know that those seven years are divided into two parts of three and a half each, and the second part is worse than the first.
Daniel 9 verse 27
He will conclude a firm covenant with many for one week; and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation, and the wing of abominations will come one devastating, and this until the destruction and what has been decreed on the spread devastated.
We find that three and a half separate well 29 September 2008 of March 2012 and it should be noted that three and a half years in March 2012 brings us to September 2015.
When is the war « Jihad » started in March 2012 corresponds to the conflict to the end of time led by the « devastating » the « E. I. « (the Islamic state), also known as the « DAECH ‘ ‘the 42-month Great tribulation « to be adopted by Jesus Christ at his return.
March 2012 is the beginning of the Great Tribulation 42 months.
So to say that without the return of Jesus Christ is for this year 2015, it is nevertheless clear that there is a very high probability that this return in glory of our Lord Jesus Christ be in a very close time.
As Christians we can understand the extent of War time as book Jesus Christ and Lucifer.
Jesus Christ fight to save the most of our Brothers and Sisters,
To bring him through baptism and repentance maximum souls
To shelter from the torments of the end of time all those who are chosen as savior.
To protect ourselves from attacks by forces of Lucifer.
Lucifer seeks to put doubt in the minds of Christians, to train them in poverty, misery, hatred and war to better lead them to modern-day slavery.
The work of Lucifer Elites
We my beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ we are the soldiers of Christ risen and must carry loudly the good news of the imminent return in glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Note that God must also intervene in the end times per our fulfillment of punishment and the day of his wrath.
I expected the punishment and wrath of God day for the last days of the end of time, just before the return of Jesus Christ.
And again by an analytical look at the past, I believe without being able to say but it’s so real thing that I do not understand not having thought before, I explain:
Let us remember that indeed the Jewish people lived a real ordeal of two thousand years punishment for all the sins committed. And May 14, 1948, God pardoned.
But this is not the same for all non-Jews!
We all (non-Jewish) are accountable to God for all the sins committed.
True Christians we shall be saved by the love of Jesus Christ.
But will be saved only those who repent of their sins, who come to Christ through baptism, the demand for pardon and then walk humbly in life by repentant sinners.
All others must face the attacks of the followers of Satan overcoming more trials decreed by God.
We can notice that since May 14, 1948 the countries most exposed to attacks by followers of Satan, and victims of major disasters are the countries where Christianity is a minority.
Similarly it is in these countries to Christian minorities that since September 29, 2008 the people suffer the most from natural disasters and persecution.
And finally since March 2012 is still in the same countries to Christian minorities, as natural disasters are the strongest and we note that the Islamists massacred them while massacring the passage Christian minorities.
We therefore find that the punishment of God are visibly spread in the end times with a rise equal to the magnitude of the war between Christ and Lucifer.
Jesus Christ, therefore saving by his love, punishment of God, all beings who come to Him by baptism and repentance and put themselves under his protection by prayer and humility.
Lucifer seeking revenge by suffering and destroying the maximum beings and particularly Christians.
God extent with applying these times of the end of time his punishment and anger at those who do not put themselves under the protection of love and peace of Jesus Christ.
God in these times of the end of time, by grants against forgiveness for all his sins committed, to all who put themselves under the protection of love and peace of Jesus Christ.
Prayer, Faith, humility and repentance will help my beloved brothers and sisters in these very difficult moments before the return of our Lord Jesus Christ who promised there are two thousand years to come to save us end of time.
Obviously we’re there, and his return is imminent.
Let us repent!
Pending the return of our Lord we still have to face some very difficult days and days.
The difficulties will still be amplified and they still amplify increasingly like the pain of childbirth until the Lord Jesus Christ on the Mount of Olives. John 16.21
18 Earthquakes in Nepal in 3 days
Baltimore, economic crisis: blacks attack whites
Peace, love and joy in the hearts and homes in anticipation of the return of our Lord Jesus Christ for his thousand-year reign that will separate us from the final judgment.
Please my beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ want to communicate well with all your contacts this link for direct access to all my articles:
Time is short and we must all work to spread the gospel , « Jesus Christ is coming soon »
I could be wrong and it would not be the first time but I think that the return of Jesus Christ is good for this year, 2015.
I invite you to read or reread my article:
I also invite you to watch these three videos on the prophecies of the end times of Dr. Peter Gilbert « Escathologue ».
He thinks that the tribulations are not yet come.
I agree that we are already at the end of the tribulation just before the return of Jesus Christ, but I am not a prophet and I could be wrong, however we must be always ready to meet the Lord at every moment.
I also invite you, my beloved brothers and sisters below to read the Gospel of Mark
Gospel of Mark
Beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, Son of God.
According to what is written in Isaiah the prophet: Behold I send my messenger before thee, which shall prepare thy way;
The voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths.
John did baptize in the wilderness, preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
All the country of Judea and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem went out to him; and confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River.
John was clothed with camel’s hair and a leather belt around his waist. He ate locusts and wild honey.
He preached, saying, There cometh after me one mightier than I, and I am not worthy to stoop down to me, the thongs of whose sandals.
I have baptized you with water; he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.
At that time Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
By the time he came out of the water, he saw the heavens open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.
And a voice came from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Immediately the Spirit drove Jesus into the wilderness,
where he spent forty days, tempted by Satan. He was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to him.
After John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God.
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news.
As he passed along the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.
Jesus said unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
Immediately they left their nets and followed him.
Having gone a little further, he saw Jacques, son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the boat mending the nets.
Immediately he called them; and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants, and followed him.
They went into Capernaum. And on the Sabbath, Jesus first entered the synagogue, and taught.
They were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried:
What he was between us and you, Jesus of Nazareth? You came to destroy us. I know who thou art, the Holy One of God.
Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.
And the unclean spirit came out of him, shaking violently, and with a loud cry.
They were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, What is this? A new teaching! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him!
And his fame spread to all the surrounding region of Galilee.
Leaving the synagogue, they went with Jacques and John to the house of Simon and Andrew.
The stepmother of Simon lay sick with a fever; and immediately they told him about her.
Having come near, he raised her up, taking her hand, and the fever left her. And she served them.
That evening, after sunset, they brought to him all who were sick or possessed by demons.
And all the city was gathered together at the door.
He healed many who had various diseases; and cast out many demons, and did not allow the demons to speak, because they knew him.
Towards morning while it was still very dark, he got up and went out to a deserted place, where he prayed.
Simon and those who were with him began to look for him;
and when they had found him, they said to him, All seek thee.
He answered them, Let us go into the next towns, that I also preaches;because that is why I came out.
And he preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and casting out demons.
A leper came to him; and, kneeling down, he said imploringly: If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out his hand, touched him, and said, I will; be clean.
Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cleansed.
Jesus sent him on the spot, with strict recommendations,
and said to him: See thou tell no one; but go, show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing what Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
But this man, having gone, began to publish it much, and to disclose it, so that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city. But was without in desert places: and they came to him from all sides.
Some days later, he entered into Capernaum. We learned that he was at home,
and he assembled a large number of people that the space before the door could not contain them. He spoke the word.
People came to him, bringing a paralytic carried by four men.
As they could not come, because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof of the house where he was, and they let down the bed wherein opening the paralytic lay.
Jesus saw their faith, said to the paralytic, Child, your sins are forgiven.
There were some of the scribes who were seated, and who called themselves within themselves:
How doth this man thus speak blasphemies? He blasphemy. Who can forgive sins, but God alone?
Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, said to them: Why do you have these things in your hearts?
Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, Arise, take up thy bed, and walk?
But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins:
I command you, he said to the paralytic, Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.
And at the moment, he stood up, took his bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We have never seen anything like it .
Jesus went out again beside the sea. The whole crowd came to him, and he taught them.
By the way, he saw Levi the son of Alpheus, sitting at the tax office. He told him: Follow me. Levi got up and followed him.
As Jesus sat at meat in the house of Levi, many publicans and sinners also sat down with Jesus and his disciples; for there were many, and they followed him.
The scribes and Pharisees saw him eating with publicans and sinners, said to his disciples, Why does he drink and he eats with publicans and sinners?
When Jesus heard it, he said: It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but the sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.
John’s disciples and the Pharisees were fasting. They came to him, saying: Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast?
Jesus answered them: Can the children of the bridechamber fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they can not fast.
The days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away, and then they will fast in that day.
No one sews a piece of new cloth on an old garment; else the new filling-up takes from the old, and a worse rent.
And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the wine will burst the skins, and the wine and the skins are lost; but it must be put new wine into new bottles.
It happened on the Sabbath, that he went through the wheat fields. His disciples, on the way, began to pluck the ears.
The Pharisees said to him: Behold, why do they do what is not lawful on the Sabbath?
Jesus answered them: Have you never read what David did when he was in need and was hungry, he and those who were with him;
how he entered the house of God in the time of Abiathar the high priest, and ate the show bread, which is allowed the priests to eat, and gave also to those who were with him?
He said to them: The sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath,
so the Son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath.
And he entered again into the synagogue. And there was a man who had the withered hand.
They watched him, to see whether he would heal on the sabbath; that they might accuse him.
And Jesus said to the man who had the withered hand: Arise, in the midst.
Then he said to them: Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do harm, to save life or to kill? But they were silent.
So, looking around at them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he said to the man: Stretch forth thy hand. He stretched it out, and his hand was restored.
The Pharisees went out and immediately took counsel with the Herodians on how to destroy him.
Jesus withdrew to the sea with his disciples. A great multitude followed him from Galilee;
and Judea, and Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond the Jordan, and about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, hearing all that he did, came to him.
He instructed his disciples to always keep at his disposal a small boat, in order not to be pressed by the crowd.
For he had healed many people, all who had diseases pressed upon him to touch him.
The unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried: You are the Son of God.
But he sternly warned them not to make him known.
He went up on the mountain; He called those he wanted, and they came to him.
He appointed twelve, to be with him,
and send them to preach with power to cast out demons.
Here he establishes the twelve: Simon, whom he named Peter;
Jacques, son of Zebedee and John the brother of Jacques, to whom he gave the name Boanerges, which means son of Thunder;
André; Philippe; Bartholomew; Matthew; Thomas; Jacques, son of Alpheus; Thaddeus; Simon the Canaanite;
and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
They went to the house, and the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not even eat bread.
The parents of Jesus heard what was happening, came to seize him; for they said, He is beside himself.
And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub;it is by the prince of demons that he drives out demons.
Jesus called them and said to them in parables: How can Satan cast out Satan?
If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom can not stand;
If a house is divided against itself, that house can not stand.
If Satan has risen up against himself, he is divided, he can not stand, but it is all over him.
No one can enter the house of a strong man and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man; then he will plunder his house.
I tell you the truth, all sins will be forgiven the son of men, and whatever blasphemies they utter;
but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin.
He said this because they said, He has an unclean spirit.
There came then his mother and his brothers came, and standing outside, they sent and called him.
A crowd was sitting around him, and said, Behold, your mother and your brothers are outside looking for you.
And he said, Who is my mother and who are my brothers?
Then he looked at those seated around him, Behold, he says, my mother and my brothers.
For whoever does the will of God, the same is my brother, my sister, and mother.
He began again to teach beside the sea. A large crowd gathered around him, he went and sat in a boat on the sea. The whole crowd was on the land.
He taught them many things in parables, and told them in his teaching:
Listen. A sower went out to sow.
As he sowed, some seeds fell along the path and the birds came and ate it up.
Some fell on rocky ground, where it had not much earth; immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of earth;
but when the sun rose, they were scorched and withered away roots.
And some fell among thorns; and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
And other fell on good ground, and yielded fruit growing up and increasing and yielding thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.
Then he said: He that hath ears to hear.
When he was alone, those around him with the twelve asked him about the parables.
He said to them: To you has been given the mystery of the kingdom of God; but for those outside everything is in parables;
That seeing they may see and not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand, lest they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.
He said to them: Do you not understand this parable? How will you understand all the parables?
The sower sows the word.
Some are along the path, where the word is sown; when they hear, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them.
Other, similarly, are sown on stony ground; when they hear the word, they immediately receive it with joy;
but they have no root in themselves, but endure and, whenever there is trouble or persecution comes because of the word, immediately they are offended.
Others are sown among thorns; they are those who hear the word,
but the cares of the age, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things, choke the word, making it unfruitful.
Others are sown on good ground; they are those who hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.
He said to them, Bring does one lamp and put it under a bushel, or under a bed? Is not it put on a stand?
For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; nor anything secret that shall not be revealed.
If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.
He said to them: Take heed what you hear. The measure you measure you will be served, and it will be given you.
For to every one who; but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that he hath.
He said, So is the kingdom of God as if a man should cast seed into the ground;
whether he sleeps or watch, day and night, the seed sprouts and grows, he knows not how.
The earth produces of itself, first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear;
and, when the fruit is ripe, he puts the sickle, because the harvest has come.
And he said, What shall we compare the kingdom of God, or what parable shall we?
It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when sown in the earth, is the smallest of all the seeds on earth;
yet when it is sown it grows up and becomes greater than all the herbs, and puts forth large branches, so that the birds of the air may lodge under its shade.
And with many parables like this he spoke the word, as they were able to hear it.
He did not speak to them without a parable; but privately he explained everything to his disciples.
That same day, in the evening, Jesus said: Let’s go to the other side.
After dismissing the crowd, they took him into the boat where he was;there were also other boats with him.
And there arose a great storm, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was now full.
And he was asleep in the stern on the cushion. They woke him and said to him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
He got up, rebuked the wind and said unto the sea, Peace! shut up! And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
He said to them: Why are you so fearful? How have you no faith?
And they were sore afraid, and they said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even obey the wind and the sea?
They reached the other side of the sea, in the country of the Gadarenes.
And when he was out of the boat, there met him a certain man out of the tombs, and has an unclean spirit.
Who had his dwelling among the tombs, and no one could bind him even with a chain.
For often he had fetters and chains had been bound, but he broke the chains and broken the fetters, and no one had the strength to subdue him.
It was always night and day among the tombs and on the mountains, crying and cutting himself with stones.
When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped him,
and cried with a loud voice: What did he do to me and to thee, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you in the name of God, do not torment me.
For he said unto him, Come out of the man, unclean spirit!
And he asked him, What is thy name? My name is Legion, he answered, for we are many.
And he besought him not to send them out of the country.
There were, to the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.
And the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.
He allowed them. And the unclean spirits came out and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea: there were about two thousand, and were choked in the sea.
Those who fed them fled, and told it in the city and in the countryside.People went out to see what had happened.
They came to Jesus, and saw the demoniac, who had had the legion, sitting, clothed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.
Those who had seen what had happened told them what had happened to the demoniac and to the swine.
Then they began to beg Jesus to leave their territory.
As he climbed into the boat, he who had been demon-possessed asked permission to stay with him.
Jesus did not let him, but said to him: Go to your house, to, and tell them how much the Lord has done and how he had mercy on you.
He went away and began to proclaim in Decapolis what Jesus had done for him. And all were amazed.
Jesus in the boat returned to the other side, a large crowd gathered around him. He was beside the sea.
Then came one of the rulers of the synagogue named Jairus, who, having insight, fell at his feet,
and gave him this urgent request: My little daughter is at the end, come, he lays his hands, so she may be healed and live.
Jesus went with him. A large crowd followed and pressed it.
Now there was a woman who had an issue of blood twelve years.
She had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all she had, and she had nothing bettered, but rather grew worse was.
Having heard of Jesus, came in the crowd behind, and touched his garment.
For she said: If I just touch his clothes, I shall be whole.
At that moment blood loss stopped and she felt in her body that she was healed of her affliction.
Jesus immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him;and, turning to the crowd, he said, Who touched my clothes?
His disciples said to him, You see the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
And he looked around to see who had done it.
But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and told him the whole truth.
But Jesus said to her, Daughter, thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
While he yet spake, there came from the ruler of the synagogue’s which said, Thy daughter is dead; why the Master any further?
But Jesus, regardless of these words, said to the ruler of the synagogue: Fear not, only believe.
And he allowed no one to accompany him, except Peter, Jacques and John the brother of Jacques.
They arrived at the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and people weeping and wailing.
He went in and said to them, Why do ye this ado, and why are you crying? The child is not dead but sleeping.
And they laughed at him. Then, having put them all out, taketh with him the father and mother of the child, and those who had accompanied him, and went in where the child was.
He grabbed her by the hand, and said, Talitha koumi, meaning Little girl, get up, I say.
Immediately the girl stood up and began to walk; for she was twelve years old. And they were greatly astonished.
And he charged them straitly that no man should know it; and he told them to give room to the girl.
Jesus left there and went to his homeland. His disciples followed him.
When the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue. Many people who heard him were astonished, saying: How came this man these things? What is the wisdom that was given to him, and how such mighty works are wrought by his hands?
Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of Jacques, Joseph, Judas and Simon? And his sisters, are they not here with us? And it was for them offended.
But Jesus said to them: A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown, among his relatives and in his own house.
He could not do any miracles there, except that he laid his hands upon a few sick people and healed them.
And he marveled because of their unbelief. Jesus went round about the villages teaching.
Then he called the twelve, and began to send them out two by two, giving them power over unclean spirits.
He instructed them to take nothing for the journey except a staff; for no bread, no bag, no money in their belts;
to wear sandals, and not put on two tunics.
Then he said to them, In whatever house you enter, stay there until you depart from there.
And, if there is somewhere people who do not receive you or listen to you, remove yourself from there, shake off the dust from your feet for a testimony unto them.
And they went, and they preached repentance.
They cast out many demons, and anointed with oil many that were sick and healed.
King Herod heard of Jesus, whose name had become known, and he said: John the Baptist is risen from the dead, and that is why it is through him wonders.
Others said, It is Elijah. And others said, He is a prophet like one of the prophets.
But when Herod heard this, said, John, whom I beheaded, it is he who is risen.
For Herod himself had arrested John, and bound him in prison on account of Herodias the wife of Philip his brother, because he had married her,
John said to him: It is not allowed thee to have thy brother’s wife.
Herodias set herself against him, and desired to kill.
But she could not; For Herod feared John, knowing him to be a just and holy man; he protected it, and, after hearing him, he did many things and heard him gladly.
And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief estates of Galilee.
The daughter of Herodias came in the room; she danced, and pleased Herod and his guests. The king said to the damsel: Ask of me what thou wilt, and I will give.
And he swore What you ask of me, I will give you, even half of my kingdom.
Being out, she said to her mother, What shall I ask? And she said: The head of John the Baptist.
She immediately with haste to the king and told him this request: I want you to give me at once on a platter the head of John the Baptist.
The king was sorry; but because of his oaths and the guests, he would not reject her.
He sent on the spot a guard, and commanded to bring the head of John the Baptist.
The guard went and beheaded him in the prison, and brought his head on a platter. He gave it to the girl, and the girl gave it to her mother.
And his disciples heard this, they came and took his body and laid it in a tomb.
The apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all they had done and all they had taught.
Jesus said to them: Come apart into a desert place, and rest a little. For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat.
So they went out in a boat, to go away to a deserted place.
Many people saw them going and recognized them, and all the cities on foot and it ran ahead of them in the place where they were going.
When he went ashore, he saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd;and he began to teach them many things.
As the hour was already late, his disciples came to him and said, The place is desert, and the time is now past;
Send them away, that they may go into the country and villages around, and buy themselves something to eat.
Jesus answered them, Give ye them to eat. But they said to him, Shall we go and buy bread for two hundred pence, and give them something to eat?
He said to them: How many loaves have you? Check. They knew, they say, Five, and two fish.
And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass,
and they sat down in rows of hundreds and fifties.
He took the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks. Then he broke the loaves, and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd. He also divided the two fish among them all.
They all ate and were filled,
and they took up twelve baskets full of pieces of bread and what was left of the fish.
Those who ate the loaves were five thousand men.
Immediately Jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go before him unto the other side to Bethsaida, while he dismissed the crowd.
When he had returned, he went to the mountain to pray.
When evening came, the boat was in the middle of the sea, and he alone on the land.
He saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary. At the fourth watch of the night he came to them, walking on the sea, and would have passed.
When they saw him walking on the sea, they supposed it was a ghost, and cried out;
because they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying: Do not worry, it is I, fear not!
Then he went up to them into the boat, the wind ceased. They were in themselves all amazed, and marveled;
because they had not understood about the loaves, because their heart was hardened.
After they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret, and they landed.
When they were out of the boat, people, having immediately recognized him,
ran round about, and they began to bring the sick on mats to wherever they heard he was.
Wherever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment. And all who touched him were healed.
The Pharisees and the scribes, coming from Jerusalem, gathered themselves together unto Jesus.
They saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled hands, that is to say, not washed.
For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they wash their hands, according to the tradition of the elders;
and when they come from the marketplace they do not eat unless they wash. They still have a lot of other things there, like the washing of cups, jugs and vessels of brass.
And the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why do your disciples not follow the tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with unwashed hands?
Jesus answered, You hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, as it is written: This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
In vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men.
He said to them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, keep your own tradition.
For Moses said: Honour thy father and thy mother; and, He who curses his father or mother shall be put to death.
But you say, If a man tells his father or his mother, What I could have from me is Corban, that is to say, an offering to God,
you no longer let him do anything for his father or his mother,
Making the word of God by your tradition which you have handed down. And you do many other such things.
Then had called the people unto him, he said: Hear me all, and understand.
There is nothing outside a man that entering into him can defile him; but what comes out of the man is what defiles him.
If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.
When he entered the house, away from the crowd, his disciples asked him the parable.
He told them: You also, are you foolish? Do not you understand that nothing that enters from outside a man can defile him;
For it does not go into his heart but into his belly, and goes out into the draft, purging all foods.
He said, What comes out of a man is what defiles a man.
For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness.
All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon. He entered a house, and would have no man know but he could not be hid.
For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, came and fell at his feet.
The woman was Greek, Syrophoenician origin. She begged him to cast the demon out of her daughter. Jesus said,
Let the children first be filled: because it is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.
Yes, Lord, she answered him, but the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.
Then he said, because of this saying go, the demon has left your daughter.
And when she went home, she found the child lying on the bed, the demon gone out.
Jesus left the region of Tyre, and came through Sidon to the Sea of Galilee, crossing the borders of Decapolis.
They brought to him a deaf man who had difficulty speaking, and they beseech him to lay hands on her.
He took him aside from the crowd, put his fingers in the ears and touched his tongue with her own saliva;
Then, looking up to heaven, he sighed, and said, Ephphatha, that is to say, open yourself.
And his ears were opened, his tongue freed, and he spoke very well.
Jesus ordered them not to tell anyone; but the more he charged them, the more they proclaimed it.
They were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things;he even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.
In those days, a multitude being reunited and having nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples and said to them:
I have compassion on the multitude, because now three days they continue with me, and they have nothing to eat.
If I send them home fasting forces missed their way; because some of them came from far.
His disciples answered him: How can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness?
Jesus asked them, How many loaves have you? Seven, they replied.
And he commanded the crowd to sit down, he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to his disciples to distribute; and they set them before the crowd.
They had a few small fish, and Jesus gave thanks, also made the distribution.
They ate and were filled: and they took up seven baskets full of fragments that remained.
They were about four thousand. And he sent them.
He immediately got into the boat with his disciples, and came into the parts of Dalmanutha.
The Pharisees came out and began to argue with Jesus, and to test him, sought from him a sign from heaven.
And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and said, Why does this generation seek a sign? I tell you the truth, he will not be given a sign to this generation.
And he left them, and entering into the boat, departed to the other side.
And they forgot to take bread; they had one with them in the boat.
And he charged them saying, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.
And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have no bread.
Jesus, perceiving it, said to them: Why do you reason that you do not have bread? Are you not yet understand, and do you not understand?
Have you hardened heart? Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, hear ye not? And do you not remember?
When I broke the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments did you take up? Twelve, they replied.
And when I broke the seven loaves for the four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments did you take up? Seven, they replied.
And he said: Do not you understand yet?
They came to Bethsaida; and they brought to him a blind man, they begged him to touch.
He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village; and when he had spit on his eyes, laid his hands, and asked him if he saw anything.
He looked, and said, I see men; for I see them like trees walking.
He put his hands again upon his eyes; and when him look, he was restored, and saw everything clearly.
And he sent him into his house, saying, Do not go to the village.
Jesus went with his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi he asked them the way this question: Who do men say that I am?
They answered, John the Baptist; others say Elijah, others one of the prophets.
And you, them he asked, who do you say that I am? Peter answered him: Thou art the Christ.
Jesus warned them not to say this of him to anyone.
Then he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and that after three days rise again.
He said that saying openly. And Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke him.
But Jesus turning and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan! because you can not understand the things of God, you’re only human thoughts.
And he called the crowd with his disciples, he said: If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross and follow me.
For whosoever will save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel’s will save it.
And what shall it profit a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?
What shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
He said to them: I tell you the truth, some of those who are here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God come with power.
And after six days Jesus took with him Peter, Jacques and John, and leadeth them away on a high mountain. He was transfigured before them;
his garments became glistening, intensely white, there is no fuller on earth could bleach them.
Elijah and Moses appeared to them, talking with Jesus.
And Peter answering, said to Jesus: Rabbi, it is good that we are here; Let us make three tents, one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.
For he knew not what to say, for they were afraid.
A cloud overshadowed them, and from the cloud came a voice: This is my beloved Son; listen to him!
And suddenly looking round about, and they saw Jesus only with them.
As they came down the mountain, he charged them to tell no one what they had seen, till the Son of Man had risen from the dead.
They kept that saying with themselves, questioning what rising from the dead.
The disciples asked him: Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?
He answered, Elijah does come first and restore all things. And why is it written of the Son of man that he must suffer many things and be despised?
But I tell you that Elijah has come and they have treated him as they pleased, as it is written of him.
When they came to the disciples, they saw around them a great multitude, and scribes arguing with them.
As soon as the crowd saw him, were greatly amazed, and running to greet him.
He asked them, What are you discussing with them?
And one of the crowd answered him, Teacher, I brought unto thee my son, who hath a dumb spirit.
Wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; foams and grinds his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to cast it out, and they could not.
Faithless, Jesus said to them, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? Bring him to me. It is brought to him.
And as soon as he saw him, the spirit convulsed him; he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.
He asked his father, How long has he been like this with him? Since childhood, he replied.
And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire and into water to destroy him.But if you can do anything, come to our help, have compassion on us.
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst … Everything is possible for him who believes.
Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, I think! help thou my unbelief!
Jesus saw the people came running, rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to him: Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him, and enter no more.
And he came out, screaming, and shaking with great violence. He became as dead, so that many said he was dead.
But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up. And he stood.
When he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why do not we cast him out?
He said to them: This kind can come out only by prayer.
They left from there and passed through Galilee. Jesus did not want anyone to know.
For he taught his disciples and said to them: The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men; they shall kill him, and three days after it has been put to death, he will rise.
But they did not understand the saying, and were afraid to ask him.
They came to Capernaum. When he was in the house he asked them, What were you discussing on the way?
But they kept silent, for they had disputed among themselves about who was the greatest.
Then he sat down, called the twelve, and said to them: If anyone wants to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.
And he took a little child and had him stand among them, and taking him in his arms, he said:
Whoever welcomes in my name one such child receives myself; and whoever receives me, receives not me but him who sent me.
John said to him: Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbade him, because he followeth not us.
Do not forbid Jesus said, because there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name can lightly speak evil of me.
Who is not against us is for us.
And whosoever shall give you to drink a glass of water in my name because you belong to Christ, I tell you the truth, he shall not lose his reward.
But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe it would be better for him that hanged about his neck a big millstone, and he cast into the sea.
If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off; It is better for thee to enter into life maimed,
than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched.
And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off; better for you to enter life lame,
than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched.
And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out; better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell,
where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.
For every one shall be salted with fire.
Salt is good; but if the salt has lost its savor, wherewith will ye season it?
Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with each other.
Then Jesus went thence, and cometh into the coasts of Judea, beyond Jordan. The crowd gathered again near him, and as usual, he began again to teach it.
The Pharisees came and, to test him, they asked him, Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife.
He replied: That you which Moses?
Moses, they said, allowed to write a bill of divorcement, and to put away.
And Jesus said unto them, It is because of the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.
But from the beginning of creation, God made them male and female;
this is why a man leaves his father and mother and be joined to his wife,
and the two shall become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but they are one flesh.
So let man not separate what God has joined together.
When they were in the house the disciples asked him again about it.
He said, Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her;
and if she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.
And they brought little children, that he might touch them. But the disciples rebuked those that brought them.
Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them come to me Let the little children, and do not hinder them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.
And he took them in his arms, and blessed them, laying his hands on them.
As he was going out on the road, a man ran up and knelt before him, Good Master, himself, he asked, what must I do to inherit eternal life?
Jesus said to him, Why do you call me good? There is none good but God alone.
Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery; Thou shalt not kill; Do not steal; Do not bear false witness; Defraud not one; Honour thy father and thy mother.
He answered him, Teacher, all these I have observed from my youth.
When Jesus beholding him loved him, and said, You lack one thing; go, sell all you have and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.
But sad at that saying, and he went away sorrowful; for he had great possessions.
Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
The disciples were amazed at his words. And, resuming, he said: My children, it is hard for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God!
It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.
The disciples were astonished and they said to each other; And who can be saved?
Jesus looked at them and said, This is impossible with men, but not with God: for all things are possible with God.
Peter began to say to him; Behold, we have left all, and have followed thee.
Jesus answered, I tell you the truth, there is no man that hath left house, because of me and because of the good news, his house, or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children, or lands,
he shall receive an hundredfold now in this present time, houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and lands, with persecutions, and in the age to come, eternal life.
Many first shall be last; and the last shall be first.
They were on their way up to Jerusalem, and Jesus went before them. And they were amazed, and following him with fear. And he took again the twelve aside and began to tell them what was to happen to him:
Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and scribes. They will condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles
They will mock him, spit on him, scourge him, and shall kill him; and three days later he will rise.
The son of Zebedee, Jacques and John came to Jesus and said to him: Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we ask of you.
He said to them: What do you want me to do for you?
Grant us, they said, may sit, one at your right and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory.
Jesus answered, Ye know not what you ask. Can you drink the cup that I drink or be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? We can, they said.
And Jesus answered them, It is true that you drink the cup that I drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized;
but when it comes to sit at my right or to my left, it does not depend on me, and will be given to them for whom it is prepared.
When the ten heard it, they began to be indignant against Jacques and John.
Jesus called them and said, You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones dominate.
It is not so among you. But whosoever will be great among you must be your servant;
and whoever wishes to be first among you must be slave of all.
For the Son of man came not to be served but to serve and give his life a ransom for many.
They came to Jericho. And when he went out with his disciples and a large crowd, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the roadside.
He heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry; Son of David, Jesus, have mercy on me!
Many rebuked him, to shut him up; but he cried out much more; Son of David, have mercy on me!
Jesus stopped and said, Call him. They called the blind man, saying to him: Take courage, rise up, he calls you.
And throwing his coat, and, getting up with a bound, came to Jesus.
And Jesus said unto him, What wilt thou that I do to you? Rabbouni, replied the blind man, that I may see.
And Jesus said unto him, Go, your faith has saved you.
Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus in the way.
They approached Jerusalem, and they were near to Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two of his disciples,
saying to them, Go into the village opposite you, as soon as you enter it, you will find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; Untie it and bring it.
If someone tells you, ‘Why are you doing this? say, ‘The Lord needs it.And immediately he will send him here.
The disciples went away and found the colt tied near a door, in the open street, and they untied.
Some of those who were there said to them: What are you doing? Why are you untying the colt?
They answered as Jesus had said. And they let them go.
They brought the colt to Jesus, upon which they cast their garments, and he sat on it.
Many people spread their cloaks on the road, and others spread branches they had cut in the fields.
Those ahead and those who followed Jesus were shouting Hosanna!Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
Blessed is the coming kingdom, the kingdom of our father David!Hosanna in the highest!
Jesus entered Jerusalem and went into the temple. When he had seen, as it was already late, he went out to Bethany with the Twelve.
The next day, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry.
Seeing from afar a fig tree having leaves, he went to see if he could find something; and, being near, he found nothing but leaves, for it was not the season for figs.
Then taking the floor, he said, no one ever eat fruit from you! And his disciples heard it.
They came to Jerusalem, and Jesus went into the temple. He began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple; He overturned the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats doves;
and he would not allow anyone to carry around the temple.
And he taught, saying, Is it not written, My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations? But ye have made it a den of thieves.
The chief priests and the scribes heard it, and sought how they might destroy him; for they feared him, because all the crowd was astonished at his doctrine.
When evening came, he went out of town.
In the morning, passing by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
Peter remembered what had happened and said to Jesus: Rabbi, look! The fig tree that you cursed has withered.
Jesus answered and said unto them, Have faith in God.
I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and be cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and you shall have them.
And when you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
But if you do not forgive, your Father in heaven will not forgive your trespasses either.
They went back to Jerusalem, and while Jesus was walking in the temple, the chief priests, the scribes and the elders came to him
and said, By what authority do you do these things, and who gave you this authority to do them?
Jesus answered them, I will ask you a question; answer me, and I tell you by what authority I do these things.
The baptism of John, was it from heaven or from men? Answer me.
And they reasoned among themselves, If we say, From heaven, he will say, Why then did you not believe him?
And if we say, Of men … they feared the people: for all held John as a prophet.
So they answered Jesus, We know not. Jesus said to them: Neither do I, I will not tell you by what authority I do these things.
And he began to speak to them in parables. A man planted a vineyard. He set a hedge about it, dug a wine press, and built a tower; and let it out to husbandmen, and left the country.
At harvest time he sent a servant to the tenants to receive from them some of the fruit of the vine.
And they caught him, they beat him, and sent him away empty.
And again he sent to them another servant; they struck him on the head and treated him shamefully.
He sent another, and him they killed; then several others, beating or killed.
He still had a beloved son; he sent him last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son.
But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; Come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.
And they took him, killed him, and threw him out of the vineyard.
Now what will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the tenants and give the vineyard to others.
Have you not read this scripture: The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone;
It is by the Lord’s will as it is doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes?
They tried to seize him, but feared the crowd. They understood that it was for them that Jesus told this parable. And they left him and went away.
And they sent to him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch him in his words.
And they came unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and you do worry person; for you do not regard the person of men, but teach the way of God in truth. Is it permissible or not to pay taxes to Caesar?Should we pay or not pay?
Jesus, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt ye me? Bring me a penny, that I may see.
And they brought it; And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and inscription? Caesar, they replied.
Then he said unto them, Render to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s. And they were for him in astonishment.
The Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to Jesus and asked him:
Master, here is what Moses wrote unto us, If someone’s brother dies and leaves a wife, no children, his brother shall marry his wife and raise up seed to his brother.
Now there were seven brothers. The first married and died without issue.
The second took the widow to wife, and died without issue. It was the same with the third,
and none of the seven left no seed. Last of all the woman also died.
In the resurrection to which of them will she a woman? For the seven had her to wife.
Jesus answered them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, nor the power of God?
For in the resurrection of the dead, they shall take no women, nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.
As for the resurrection of the dead, have you not read in the book of Moses, how God said to him, at the bush, I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
God is not God of the dead but of the living. You are greatly mistaken.
One of the scribes that had heard them reasoning together, perceiving that he had answered them well, came and asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?
Jesus answered him, The first: Listen, Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord;
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.
The second is: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.
The scribe said to him: Well, Master; you said with truth that God is one, and there is none other than himself,
And to love him with all his heart, all his thoughts, all his soul and all his strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

Jesus saw that he answered wisely, said to him: Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no one dared ask him any more questions.
Jesus was teaching in the Temple, said, How do the scribes say that the Christ is son of David?
David himself, animated by the Holy Spirit, said: The Lord said to my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool.
David himself calls him Lord; how is he his son? And a great multitude heard him gladly.
He told them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, who like to walk in long robes, and salutations in the marketplaces,
that the chief seats in the synagogues, and first places at feasts;
who devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. They will be judged more severely.
Jesus sat down vis-à-vis the trunk, and beheld how the people cast them money. Several rich cast in much.
There came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.
Then Jesus called his disciples and said to them: I tell you the truth, this poor widow gave more than all they which have cast into the treasury;
For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she out of her, all she had, all she had to live.
When Jesus came out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings!
Jesus answered him, Seest thou these great buildings? It will not remain stone upon stone that shall not be thrown.
He sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple. And Pierre, Jacques and John and Andrew asked him privately that question:
Tell us, when shall these things will happen, and what sign will it be known that all these things will be fulfilled?
And Jesus began to say, Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in my name, saying, That’s me. And shall deceive many.
When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, be not troubled: for these things must happen. But it will not last.
Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be earthquakes in various places there will be famines. This will be only the beginning of sorrows.
Take heed to yourselves. We will deliver you to the courts, and you will be beaten in synagogues; you will stand before governors, and before kings for my sake, for a testimony to them.
It must first that the good news be preached to all nations.
When they lead you away and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand about what you have to say, but say whatever is given you in that hour;for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Spirit.
Brother will betray brother to death, and the father his child; Children will rise up against parents and will die.
You will be hated by all because of my name, but whoever endures to the end shall be saved.
When you see the abomination of desolation standing where it should not be, let him that readeth understand, then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains;
Let him who is on the housetop not come down, nor enter to take anything out of his house;
and let him who is in the field return back to take his coat.
Woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days!
Pray that these things do not happen in winter.
For trouble in those days, that there will be such as has not been from the beginning of creation which God created until now, no, nor ever shall be.
And if the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh be saved: but he hath shortened because of the elect whom he chose.
If someone told you then: « here is the Christ, » or « He is there, » do not believe it.
For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets; shall shew signs and wonders to deceive the elect, if possible.
Be on your guard; I have told you all things beforehand.
But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
Then the Son of Man will be seen coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
So he send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven.
Now learn a parable of the fig tree. When its branch becomes tender and puts forth leaves, ye know that summer is near.
Similarly, when you see these things happening, know that the Son of man is near, at the door.
I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass away until all these things take.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words shall not pass.
As for the day or hour no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.
Take heed, watch and pray; for ye know not when the time is.
It is like a man going on a journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
Watch therefore, for ye know not when the master of the house, or in the evening, or at midnight, or at cock-crow, or morning;
afraid he find you sleeping, coming suddenly.
What I say to you I say unto all, Watch.
The Passover and Unleavened Bread were two days later. The chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death.
But they said, Not during the feast, lest there be an uproar among the people.
Jesus was in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, a woman came in while he was at table. She was holding an alabaster vase, which contained a perfume of pure nard of great price; and brake the box, she poured it on Jesus’ head.
Some of them expressed their indignation: Why waste this perfume?
We could have sold for more than three hundred pence, and given to the poor. And they murmured against her.
But Jesus said: Let her. Why do you do it worth it? She has done a beautiful thing to me;
For you always have the poor with you, and you can do them good when you want, but you will not always have me.
She did what she could; she has anointed my body for burial.
I tell you the truth, wherever the gospel is preached in the whole world, that also in memory of her what she did.
Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests, to betray Jesus to them.
After hearing this, they were glad, and promised to give him money.Judas sought opportunity to betray him.
The first day of Unleavened Bread, when they sacrificed the Passover, his disciples asked him, Where wilt thou that we go get ready the passover?
And he sent two of his disciples and said to them, Go into the city; you meet a man carrying a pitcher of water, follow him.
Wherever he enters, say to the master of the house, The master saith, Where is the place where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?
He will show you a large upper room furnished and ready: this is where you ready for us.
The disciples left, came to the city, and found things as he had told them; and they prepared the Passover.
When evening came, he came with the twelve.
While they were at table and eating, Jesus said: I tell you the truth, one of you that eateth with me shall betray me.
They began to be sorrowful, and to say to him, one by one, Is it I?
He replied: It is one of the twelve, who dips with me in the dish.
The Son of man goes as it is written of him. But woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! Better for that man if he had not been born.
While they were eating, Jesus took bread; and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and gave unto them, saying, Take; this is my body.
He took the cup; and when he had given thanks, he gave to them, and they all drank.
And he said: This is my blood, the blood of the covenant, which is shed for many.
I tell you the truth, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.
After singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
Jesus said to them: You will all fall away; for it is written: I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.
But after I am raised, I will go before you into Galilee.
Peter said to him: Although all shall be offended, yet will not I..
And Jesus said: I tell you the truth, you, today, this very night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice.
But he spoke more vehemently, If I must die with you, I will not deny you. They all said the same thing.
They came to a place called Gethsemane, and Jesus said to his disciples: Sit here while I pray.
He took with him Peter, Jacques and John, and began to be sore amazed and very heavy.
He said to them, My soul is sorrowful even unto death; Stay here and watch.
And going a little farther, he threw himself against the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.
He said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me! Yet not what I want but what you want.
And he came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, you sleep! Could you not watch one hour?
Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation; The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
He went away again, and said the same prayer.
He came and found them sleeping; for their eyes were heavy. They know what to answer him.
He returned for the third time, and said to them, Sleep on now, and take your rest! Enough! The time has come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
Get up, come on; behold, he who betrays me is at hand.
And immediately, while he was still speaking, Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.
He who betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he; take him, and lead him away safely.
When he arrived, he approached him, saying, Rabbi! And kissed him.
And they laid hands on Jesus, and took him.
One of those who stood by drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his ear.
Jesus answered and said unto them, Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs to seize me.
I was daily with you teaching in the temple, and you did not arrest me.But this is so that the Scriptures be fulfilled.
They all forsook him, and fled.
A young man followed him, having a linen cloth on the body. It took him;
but he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked.
They led Jesus away to the high priest, were assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes.
Peter followed him far into the interior of the high priest’s courtyard; he sat with the servants, and warmed himself at the fire.
The chief priests and the whole council sought testimony against Jesus to put him to death, and they found none;
For many bore false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together.
Some rose up and bore false witness against him, saying,
We heard him say, I will destroy this temple made with hands, and in three days I will build one that will not be done by human hands.
Even on this point their testimony did not agree.
Then the high priest stood up in their midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? What do these witness against thee?
Jesus held his peace, and answered nothing. The high priest asked him again, saying, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?
Jesus answered, I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.
Then the high priest tore his clothes, and saith, What further need have we of witnesses?
You have heard the blasphemy. What do you think? All condemned him as deserving death.
And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face and beat him with their fists, saying, Prophesy! And the servants did so by giving him blows.
While Peter was below in the courtyard, there came one of the maids of the high priest.
And seeing Peter warming himself, she looked at him and said, Thou also wast with Jesus of Nazareth.
He denied it, saying, I do not know, I do not understand what you mean. Then he went out into the hall. And the cock crew.
The maid saw him, and began again to say to those present: This is one of those people. And he denied it again.
Soon after, those who stood by said again to Peter: Surely thou art one of those people, for you are a Galilean.
Then he began to curse and to swear, I do not know the man you speak of.
Immediately, the second time the cock crew. And Peter remembered the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And on reflection, he wept.
In the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council. Bound Jesus, they led him away, and delivered him to Pilate.
Pilate asked him: Art thou the King of the Jews? Jesus answered, Thou sayest.
And the chief priests several charges against him.
Pilate asked him again, saying, Answerest thou nothing? See how many things they witness against thee.
But Jesus made no further answer, so that Pilate marveled.
At every feast he released one prisoner, whom they desired.
There was a man named Barabbas in prison with his accomplices for a murder they had committed in the insurrection.
And the multitude crying aloud, began to ask what he had ever done unto them.
Pilate answered them: Do you want me to release to you the king of the Jews?
For he knew that because of envy that the chief priests had delivered.
But the chief priests moved the people, that Pilate rather release Barabbas.
Pilate answered and said unto them, What will ye then that I shall do unto him whom ye call the King of the Jews?
They cried out again, Crucify him!
Pilate said to them, what evil has he done? And they cried out the more: Crucify him!
Pilate, wishing to satisfy the crowd, released Barabbas to them; and having scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.
And the soldiers led him away within the court, that is to say, in the hall, and together the whole band.
They clothed him with purple, and put it on his head a crown of thorns which they had plaited.
Then they began to salute him: Hi, King of the Jews!
They struck his head with a reed, and spat on him, and bowing their knees worshiped him.
After they had mocked him, they stripped him of the purple and put his own clothes, and led him away to crucify him.
They forced him to carry Jesus’ cross a passerby coming from the country, Simon of Cyrene, father of Alexander and Rufus,
and brought him to the place called Golgotha, which means Place of the Skull.
They gave him to drink wine mingled with myrrh, but he did not take it.
They crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots to decide what each should take.
It was the third hour, and they crucified him.
The inscription indicating the subject of the charge against him read: the king of the Jews.
With him they crucify two robbers, one on his right and one on his left.
Thus was fulfilled what the Scripture says: He was numbered with the transgressors.
Passed by reviled him, wagging their heads, and saying: Hey! You who destroy the temple and build it in three days,
save thyself, and come down from the cross!
The chief priests, with the scribes, mocked them, saying, He saved others; he can not save himself!
Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and we thought! Those who were crucified with him reviled him.
The sixth hour was come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.
And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which means, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
Some of those who were there heard it, said, Behold, he calls Elijah.
And one of them ran and filled a sponge with vinegar, and having a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elias will come to take him down.
But Jesus cried with a loud cry and breathed.
The veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.
The centurion, who stood facing him, saw that he expired in this way, said, Truly this man was the Son of God.
There were also women watching from afar. Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of Jacques the less and of Joses, and Salome;
who followed him and when he was in Galilee, and many others who came up with him to Jerusalem.
The evening was come, because it was the preparation, that is to say, the day before the Sabbath –
Joseph of Arimathea, an honorable counselor, who also himself was waiting for the kingdom of God. He boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus.
Pilate marveled that he was dead so soon; him the centurion and asked him if he was long dead.
If being the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph.
And he bought a linen cloth, took Jesus down from the cross, wrapped him in the linen, and laid it in a tomb cut out of rock. Then he rolled a stone against the door of the sepulcher.
Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of Joses beheld where he was laid.
And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of Jacques, and Salome bought spices, so come and anoint him.
The first day of the week, they came unto the sepulcher, in the morning, as the sun had just risen.
And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulcher?
And looking up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away.
And entering into the sepulcher, they saw a young man sitting on the right dressed in a white robe, and they were amazed.
He told them: Do not be alarmed; you seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified; he is risen, he is not here; behold the place where they laid him.
But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him, as he told you.
And they went out and fled from the sepulcher. Fear and astonishment had; and they said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid.
Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
She went and told those who had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
When they heard that he was alive and she had seen him, they disbelieved.
After that he appeared in another form to two of them who were on the road going to the country.
They returned and told the others, who believe them do not.
Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat; and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen him risen.
Then he said to them, Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;
They shall take up serpents; if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and the sick will be healed.
Then after the Lord had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sat at the right hand of God.
And they went forth and preached everywhere. The Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.
The Lord be with you in your lives and in your hearts.
